"Forever Plaid"

DCS's currently up-coming play is "Forever Plaid"

Scheduled performances are:
Thursday through Sunday, November 12th to 14th (Each production begins at 7:30 p.m. except for Sunday's 2:30 p.m. matinee)

The Plaids, that classic pop group that never quite made it to the top due to their tragic 1964 air crash, will make a special, spectoral repeat appearance at Stein Hall (old Bass School) as a benefit for Delta Center Stage this November. Tickets will be just $5 students and DCS patrons, $10 for the general public.

This musical is directed by Mary Francis Maxey and the tuneful quartet will include repreat performances by Ike Trotter ('Sparky'), Andy Alexander ('Jinx') and Clam Trotter ('Smudge') plus a new performer in the part of 'Frankie', Bill Downs.

The musical back-up includes pianist/musical director Vicki Ebelhar and bass player "Big Earl" Bishop of Jackson. Bobby Scucchi is stage manager backed up by a veteran crew (Sonya Bixler, Penny Byler and Vicki Trotter), while expert lighting is provided by Tim Bixler. Thomas LaFoe focuses on the production's lighting.

"Forever Plaid" was written, choreographed and first directed by Stuart Ross.
