"A Fine Monster YOU Are"

DCS's currently up-coming play is "A Fine Monster YOU Are"
Scheduled performances are: Thursday through Sunday, October 15th to 18th (Each production begins at 7:30 p.m. except for Sunday's 2:30 p.m. matinee)

SYNOPSIS: This creepy-crawly comedy is another wild and hilarious Monk Ferris play: Here's sweet old Emily Holbrook in her ancient family mansion, interviewing sweet, young, Suzette Larson for a job as Secretary-Companion; quietly explaining that the house has only one window to the outside - and that window is barred - and there's to be a seance that night - and that behind that parlor drapes is a century-old stone wall with a heavy oak door, littered with every known kind of lock, PLUS a massive wooden crossbar -- all because there just might be a mis-shapen creature of elemental horror sealed behind it!
What happens to Suzette, to Flax Dempster, (her college roomate); the creaky old housekeeper, Agatha; creepy old Dr. Jonathan Starbuck; Corky Miller (Suzette's boyfriend); and the utterly incredible Kyla Calladine - a medium who likes to work fast, (but likes overtime even better), is beyond description in this limited space. Let's just say that you're gonna scream - with the off-the-wall lunacy of the story, and all the way to the mind-boggling climax.

And, by the way, feel free to bring the kids; the show is as clean as a whistle and they will enjoy every scary moment of this comedy! Speaking of kids - if a child 11 years old or under makes a "homemade" monster mask and brings it to any night of the production, that child gets in "FREE"! Remember, the masks must be homemade, and will be displayed at that night's production. So, get your little ghouls and goblins working on a mask, and please have their name inside the mask for easy identification.

The play is directed by WOODROW WILKINS, Asst. Director is Mike Riser, and both Publicity and Make-Up by Grace Willoughby.
